Do you like Space and factories? If the answer is yes, you should play Dyson Sphere Program, as it combines those two. The title is still in early access, and new content is regularly added in bigger or smaller patches. The large update was introduced recently, Rise of the Dark Fog adds enemies to the world. Along this big change, there are some new structures. One of them puzzles many fans – Core Driller. Let’s learn more about it.

What to do with Core Driller in Dyson Sphere Program

Core Driller is a structure which is left after you destroy Dark Fog planetary base. It puzzles some players, and they wonder if it can be used somehow. The answer is yes.

To use Core Driller, you have to place Geothermal Power Station over it. Thanks to you doing this, you will get a gigantic boost to power output. The bonus itself can differ, starting from around 250%, and ending on ~500%. It is unknown what exactly causes the difference. Some players believe that it is random, others think that everything depends on how entrenched the base itself is.

Regardless, you should definitely use Core Driller, as it is free power boost. If you would like to destroy hostile bases easily, you should read our article about Signal Tower. If you want to learn more about handling Dark Fog, you should also check out news about Dark Fog Communicator.
