There is no denying that Baldur's Gate 3 is currently one of the most popular games on the market. The fame of this work has increased even more after it won the title of game of the year at The Game Awards, and if the developers continue to release such good videos, like the one with actors from Lord of the Rings , it could continue to grow.

Frodo and Sam in Baldur's Gate 3

During the holiday break, Larian Studios provided us with an enjoyable video, starring Elijah Wood (Frodo) and Sean Austin (Sam), best known for The Lord of the Ringstrilogy directed by Peter Jackson.

  1. The actors, under the guidance of Sven Vincke, the founder and director of the aforementioned studio, created, among other things, their own characters in this installment of the popular RPG.
  2. The video is not very long. It lasts a little more than eight minutes, but during this time you can see a lot of funny situations (it is worth watching especially how Elijah dealt with the squirrel).
  3. The video also did not lack references to scenes from The Lord of the Rings. Austing, after defeating a certain spider in Baldur's Gate 3 recalled how he dealt with a similar opponent in Return of the King.

Let's point out that Larian Studios provided the fans with another great animated video before Christmas. It shows game's main characters meet a Santa Claus-like figure and unwrap the Xbox Series X console, which can finally launch the third Baldur's Gate after months of waiting.

Baldur's Gate 3 on promotion

At the end of the year the sought-after game can be bought at a slightly lower price.. The discussed game can currently be bought 10% cheaper on PC (Steam, GOG) and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately the deal was not extended to Xbox owners; probably due to the game's recent release on that platform.

Recall that Baldur's Gate 3 debuted on PC in August, on PlayStation 5 in September, and on Xbox Series X/S only in December.
