Larian Studios postponed the date for the start of Patch 7 testing for Baldur's Gate 3. The developers also released a preliminary list of new features and changes it will bring.
Patch 7 tests for Baldur's Gate III were to start today. They were supposed to. Larian Studios said in a recently published statement that its closed beta will launch later this week. Unfortunately, it wasn't revealed exactly when.
What caused this delay? As the developers explain, while fixing one bug, another problem appeared, which caused passive dice rolls to stop working properly. Currently, developers are working on removing unforeseen issues.
However, this delay is an opportunity for players who didn't manage to register for the tests of the new patch. If you are interested in the tests, you need to request access to the closed beta via the game card on Steam.
Let us remind you that the long-awaited update will introduce over 1,000 fixes to the game. There will also be new content, such as new cutscenes for the bad ending, as well as an official tool for creating mods, about which the authors of fan modifications have initially commented.
