Aloy in Genshin Impact Will Appear in Early September

The release of Update 2.1 to Genshin Impact is scheduled for September 1. Then we'll get new locations, four heroines (including Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn) and the ability to fish.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Update 2.1 for Genshin Impact will launch on September 1;
  2. It will add to the game, among others, the character Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.

Update 2.1 for Genshin Impact will be released on September 1, this year. New features will include new playable characters (e.g. a guest appearance of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn), a fishing system, a continuation of the story in the Inazuma chapter, and additional events to tie in with the game's launch anniversary celebration.

For many casual observers the biggest news in update 2.1 will be the appearance of Aloy, which will first be made available to PS4 and PS5 owners through a limited-time event, with the rest of the versions following a month later. Heroine of Horizon Zero Dawn has bonded with the element of ice and will wield a bow. You can see her in action in a fragment of a special presentation.

In addition to Aloy, Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara and Sangonomiya Kokomi will also be added as playable characters. Their presence will be connected with closing the threads of the Inazuma chapter. During the story we'll visit new locations - the islands of Watatsumi and Seirai.

In the game there will also be a possibility to catch fish, which we can then use to prepare meals. Speaking of which, the Moonchase Festival will be held in Liyue. During it we'll prepare various dishes and take part in competitions. This will be combined with other treasure hunting events - Moonlight Seeker.

With the update 2.1 to Genshin Impact, the game will be celebrating its first anniversary. The reward for logging in daily will be 10 pieces of Intertwined Fate and other resources needed for character progression. Those who choose to purchase the in-game currency will receive double the amount.
