Genshin Impact 2.6 - Preload Available; The Chasm Added

Preload of update 2.6 started in Genshin Impact. Thanks to this you can download the patch files now so you can start playing as soon as the patch officially debuts on the servers.

1. The feature is only available on PC and mobile devices. Console players will be unable to use this option.
2. On PC, preload can be done in the background while playing Genshin Impact.
3. On mobile devices, on the other hand, gameplay is not possible during the installation of update files, so the devs recommend completing all challenges before starting the process.

Update 2.6 details

The update will debut on March 30. The developers expect that the break in the operation of servers will last about 5 hours.

1. Patch 2.6 will introduce a new region (The Chasm) and a new domain (The Lost Valley).
2. Sword wielding Kamisato Ayato will join the list of playable characters.
3. The enemy gallery will be expanded by three new enemy types.
4. There will be many new missions, both in the main storyline and side quests.
5. There will be new weapons in the form of the five-star sword Haran Geppaku Futsu and additional artifact sets.
6. There will also be new items and balance changes.
7. Update 2.6 will add a new event, called Hues of the Violet Garden, where the players will help organize the Irodori Festival.
