Yesterday marked the debut of Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, an action adventure game with roguelike elements, based on the license of the popular comic book series from Dark Horse Comics. On this occasion, a launch trailer for this title has been released.
Hellboy: Web of Wyrd appeared on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The industry media, however, are less kind to this project, as on Metacritic, the average of their ratings ranges between 55-61/100 (depending on the platform).
At the time these words are being written, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is praised primarily for its graphic style and sound layer, world design and storyline. Nevertheless, the game suffers from a number of ills, the biggest of which are the underdeveloped combat system, and on PC - problems with the image display and the controls, which have been very poorly adapted to the specifics of playing on a mouse and keyboard.
