Hi-Fi Rush, a rhythmic action game from Tango Gameworks, unexpectedly released in January and just as unexpectedly becoming a hit, has received a new update. Arcade Challenge! Update! adds two new modes, as well as aforeunavailable challenges and rewards. The update is available on both PC and Xbox Series X/S.

  1. New game modes become available after completing the storyline.
  2. The first of these, BPM Rush!, enables the protagonist to face waves of enemies. Between rounds, not only the strength of the enemies increases, but also the tempo of the music to the rhythm of the action, reaching up to 200 beats per minute.
  3. The second module, Power Up! Tower Up!, is a variation on the Rhythm Tower theme from the base game. Climbing up the tower, Chai clears more arenas from enemies, and gains various upgrades between the rounds.
  4. Arcade Challenge! Update! also includes 40 new challenges - 20 for each game mode. For tackling them, we get, among other things, accessories for Chai, costumes for fan favorites 808 and Korsica, and additional features for photo mode, led by character poses, filters and sticker sets.
