Wrathful Osgar Reede (level 35) is one of the elite enemies in Diablo 4 that always appears in the same location on the map. You can easily find him, but remember, he is a tough opponent. Wrathful Osgar Reede is not as powerful as the hidden, optional boss Butcher in Diablo 4, but he can still pose a challenge, so we recommend fighting him only at level 25. You will certainly need company (especially if you are a barbarian). So, if you are playing with friends, use the old and proven technique – one person in the team attracts the enemy’s attention, while the rest teammates deal damage.

Defeated Wrathful Osgar Reede always drops the Mace of Blazing Furor – a level 35 rare mace (useful for barbarians) and other random items for other character classes with a required item level from 25 to 35.

How to lower the item level of rare items?

You cannot equip items that exceed your character level (25 lv), but in Diablo 4, there is a way to lower the required item level and thus be able to use incredibly powerful items. To do this, simply use the Aspect System. Aspects are obtained in special dungeons on the Diablo 4 map. Once you unlock at least one aspect, simply go to Demyan – an occultist in the city of Kyovashad (location on the D4 interactive map) and imprint one of the aspects on the rare weapon dropped by Wrathful Osgar Reede. This way, the item level will be drastically reduced (without loss of quality!), and your 25-level character will be able to use even level 35 weapons and items.
