Icarus is an open world survival game, which was released 2 years ago, but still gets updates. The title attracted thousands of players and has a considerable group of fans. Many of them are wondering if Icarus will get a console version. Will the title get PS4, PS5 and Xbox ports? Let’s find out in this guide.

Icarus 2023 – Console (Xbox, PS4, PS5) Release

If you are one of the console players and would like to see Icarus on your platform, we have some good and bad news. Let’s start with the first one.

There is a FAQ on the official Discord server of Icarus where developers addressed console demand. We can read there that it is not currently planned but they are open to this idea. Sadly, this announcement was from 2021.

Nowadays fans are more pessimistic. Many of them underline that there is a slim chance of ports, considering high requirements and UI which would be hard to adjust to other devices.

While in the case of UI, everything is possible, requirements are a bigger problem, especially RAM. We have to remember that to play Icarus, it is needed to have at least 16GB RAM. It means that Xbox One and PS4 will not be able to run this title. Even the newest consoles – PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will have it difficult.

Taking into consideration the above, and the fact that developers do not announce anything new in this matter, we may assume that console ports will not appear anytime soon, if at all.
