Last Train Home is a new survival strategy game. You have to divide your attention between RTS combat missions with tactical view (pause) and managing resources and people. The title was warmly welcomed by fans, and at the moment, it has 87% of positive reviews on Steam. Many more people would like to try Last Train Home themselves, however, it is only available on PC. Is there a chance for console version? Will the game be available on PS4, PS5 and Xbox? Let’s find out.

Last Train Home – Console (PS4, PS5, Xbox) Release

If you are one of the fans who are eagerly waiting for PS4, PS5 or Xbox releases, we have some bad news for you. According to the FAQ on the official Discord channel, console versions are not planned at the moment.

This decision is not a surprising one, as strategy games have it rough if we take into consideration console releases. The biggest challenge is to create fun to use controls. What is more, RTS, as a genre, is more popular on PC. No wonder that computers are the major target of Last Train Home.

However, there are strategy games on consoles, so it is possible. The decision in this matter will probably depend on the popularity of Last Train Home and the demand for ports. However, even if the game will appear one day on PS4, PS5 and Xbox, it will be rather later than sooner.
