It is always a big thing when Rockstar shares something on its upcoming games. Now, it has given fans a real stir by releasing a fresh trailer for Red Dead Redemption II, the next entry in its Wild West sandbox action game series. Without further ado, here it is:
The video gives takes a peek at the game’s protagonist and what kind of man he is. While Red Dead Redemption’s John Marston may not have been crystal clean, he was inherently a good man, and this time it seems we are going to impersonate a real bandid, wanted dead or alive. The name is Arthur Morgan, and he is working for the Van der Linde gang “as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive”, says the trailer’s official description. There is no telling whether Morgan will be the only protagonist or will we get to play some other characters as well.
Rockstar still hasn’t shared any actual gameplay footage from Red Dead Redemption II, but we expect that at least some of the activities shown in the new trailer (such as robbing banks and trains, catching horses with a lasso, hunting wild game with a bow, maybe cooking) are going to make it into the game. Red Dead Redemption II is said to launch in spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
