Ethereal hand is weak against Electricity. You should use an attack which is symbolized by a yellow/green lightning. It means that Akihiko is an ideal teammate for this fight. Of course, playing as a protagonist with multiple Personas, it is also quite easy to have such skill on one among your many characters. I try to have attacks of each affinity with me. You never know when they will be useful.
