So, ready for some turn-based action without active pause?

Recently we informed you that Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will receive a turn-based mode. As promised by the creators, this is exactly what happened and from now on all the owners of the game can try battling like they did it in Divinity: Original Sin II. To enable the turn-based mode, just download a free update. It lets you choose between the new battle formula and real-time combat, typical of the series.

We remind you that the turn-based mode has been released in a beta version, so you might be willing to turn a blind eye to some deficiencies. If you have any thoughts about the combat system, you can let the creators know. Implementation of new mechanics has a chance to bring a breath of fresh air into the game and, what's more, significantly change it. Such a move may appeal to the RPG "veterans".

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire was made available to PC owners on May 8, 2018. While Obsidian Entertainment’s production did not achieve the expected financial success, this year it is expected to appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. New target platforms and constant support have a chance to convince hesitating players.
