Ragnarok Colossus is the New Project by Camelot Unchained Devs

The team at City State Entertainment has announced a cooperative action game titled Ragnarok: Colossus. This caused some fans to get upset because despite seven years of work, the studio still hasn't finished the Camelot Unchained project.

The game is due to debut at the end of the year.

City State Entertainment has announced its next project. It turned out to be Ragnarok: Colossus, a co-op action game with elements of tower defense. The project is coming to PC and is due to make its debut at the end of this year.

In Ragnarok: Colossus group of players will face hordes of enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. The gameplay will focus on close quarters battles, both with melee weapons and numerous special abilities. The maps will also feature various towers that will help us in combat.

The reveal of Ragnarok: Colossus has caused significant discontent among the fans of City State Entertainment, as the studio still hasn't finished working on Camelot Unchained, a MMORPG intended to be the spiritual heir to the iconic Dark Age of Camelot. The team has raised> more than $2.2 million on Kickstarter in 2013 for this project, and so far only early trial versions have been released. In addition, it is known that the developer's new game is to debut first.

Mark Jacobs, the team's leader, hurried to calm the community. In an interview for MassivelyOP, he said that the development of Ragnarok: Colossus is financed by an investor, which allowed to increase employment in the studio. In addition, during the development of the game, numerous technological improvements were made to the original engine, which will also be to the benefit of Camelot Unchained. Thanks to them, the MMORPG is supposed to work better and the development is supposed to pick up pace.

In addition, all those who supported Camelot Unchained during the fundraiser will receive Ragnarok: Colossus for free and a set of items for the latter as a gift, to boot. However, the creators realize that it's not enough to convince all the fans, so they also offer the possibility of refunds.
