Steelbook, cards, and a diorama – but Darkest Dungeon 2 Anniversary Edition won’t be easy to get outside the US.
Darkest Dungeon 2 fully launched two years ago, and to mark the occasion, Red Hook has put together an Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. It comes with all three DLCs, a gorgeous steelbook, and best of all – a killer deck of cards! Sure, the pop-up diorama looks neat (and the papercraft horses are a nice touch too, though those come with every physical copy), but that card deck is just too beautiful.
The Darkest Dungeon II physical Anniversary Edition is launching for PS5 and Nintendo Switch in Q4 2025, and pre-orders are already live. Priced at $99.99 this bundle packs way more than just the base game. Here’s what we’re getting:
There’s one catch, though: this edition is Amazon exclusive for both PlayStation 5 and Switch, and the DLC codes are region-locked to the US and Canada. That means if you’re outside the ESRB region, the base game will still work just fine (no region lock there), but the DLCs won’t redeem unless you're in North America. Why the region restriction exists? No clue. Let’s just hope they sort that out eventually.
Red Hook is also rolling out Secrets of the Coven, the second Kingdoms module for Darkest Dungeon 2 to consoles this month. PlayStation gets it first on May 7, with Xbox and Switch following later in May.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
