ILCA and Bandai Namco Entertainment brought their latest work to this year's San Diego Comic-Con. We are talking about Sand Land, an action RPG based on the manga by Akira Toriyama - creator of Dragon Ball.

A long, 12-minute gameplay from the title, focusing on the exploration of a vast map and combat, has seen the light of day. We can see the clashes at the helm of the original-looking tank, as well as how the protagonist copes after leaving the safe interior of the vehicle.

The title is headed for PC and consoles and has no set release date yet. Bandai Namco will bring it to this year's gamescom.

  1. Sand Land will take us to a post-apocalyptic desert world, where both humans and demons are suffering due to lack of water. The devilish prince Beelzebub, who is the game's protagonist, accompanied by Sheriff Rao and a demon named Thief, will set out in search of the Legendary Spring hidden somewhere in the unimaginably vast desert.
  2. A significant aspect of Sand Land will be the search for various parts that will allow for the construction of tanks and other vehicles. Some of these machines will be able to be used in battles, while others will only be used for movement.
  3. A base will be put at our disposal, which with each upgrade will increasingly resemble an expanded, bustling city. NPCs that Beelzebub and his companions will encounter during their adventure will be drawn there.
  4. The game will use Unreal Engine 5, and its visuals will be kept in the style characteristic of Toriyama's works.
