Sony Invites to PS5 Pre-order Registration

Sony opened registration for pre-orders of PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, for the time being the offer only applies to US residents.

US residents can already show their interest in PlayStation 5 pre-orders.

The release date of ninth generation consoles is still kept secret, despite many rumors making rounds on the web. However, it is possible that this will change soon for one of the upcoming platforms. US residents interested in the PlayStation 5 launch can already sign up for the waiting list. To do so, please visit the special section on the official PlayStation website and complete the form. If we are selected, Sony will send us an email with further instructions. We will then have to hurry up, as the number of available units is to be limited and the pre-orders will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

For the inhabitants of other continents, this information is just a curiosity. Of course, it may herald the imminent start of pre-order sales and thus the date of PlayStation 5's release. Unfortunately, for the time being it's just a speculation and will certainly not happen too soon. There's a note on the site that we will be notified in advance when we can place orders for the console.
