Black PS5 Would be a Good Match; Sony Unveils Pulse 3D Headphones Midnight Black

Sony has unveiled a new color for its Pulse 3D wireless headphones. As with the DualSense pad, they will be available for purchase in Midnight Black. Maybe a black PS5 to match them will be coming next?

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • The Pulse 3D headset is now available in all black.

For supporters of black devices Sony has prepared a headset Pulse 3D in a new color version - Midnight Black. The headband can now have a black color, which together with the rest of the elements gives a more consistent impression. New version of the headphones will be available from next month. We've also been able to buy the DualSense controller in a dark color for some time now. Perhaps now it's time to match the black accessories with a black PlayStation 5?

On the occasion of the new color version's presentation, Sony released a software update that, among other things adds new equalizer settings for the Pulse 3D headset. The presets are Standard, Bass Boost and Shooter - a special mode for FPS enthusiasts, enabling us to more easily locate the source of shots or footsteps.

The PS5 console is currently available in any color as long as it's white. However, many would love to see it in other colors too. That's why quite a few independent companies are offering case replacements, which usually meet with a strong response from Sony's lawyers. So maybe this is a good time to introduce an official black version of the console?

The Pulse 3D headphones are designed to work with PS5, PS4, PC and Mac consoles. 3.5 mm jack connector enables us to connect them to any device via cable. The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 12 hours of wireless use. Depending on the game running on the PS5, the headphones can offer surround sound. They have two built-in microphones, volume control and noise cancellation.
