Sker Ritual 1.0 is here. It was developed by Wales Interactive. The title takes place in the same universe as Maid of Sker, studio’s previous warmly received horror game. Hower, this time developers decided to change genres and publish a coop wave shooter. Of course, as always with multiplayer and different platforms, players would like to know more about crossplay. Let’s talk about it.

Multiplayer and Singleplayer in Sker Ritual

Sker Ritual is a game for up to 4 players. However, you can play solo. What is more, there is option on launch which allows you to choose offline mode. So, if you enjoy your singleplayer experience, you can do tat in this game.

Crossplay in Sker Ritual

While the game was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC, crossplay is only possible between Xbox and PC, One of the developers informed on Steam that compatibility with PS5 is a tricky thing to add for an indie studio, but they hope to add it in the future.

Crossplay on launch will be available between Xbox/PC. Playstation makes it a little tricky for an indie game like us but we hope that can change in the future.

While you can play with Xbox players (remember to make sure that cross-play is enabled in Networking Options), it seems that you can’t invite friends from other platforms. Many players seem to notice this flaw. We couldn’t find such an option either. Because of that, some fans are asking developers for an in-game friend list. However, developers have not answered this request yet.
