S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha - Developer's Cut is live

The much anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha - Developer's Cut is now live. This is a great opportunity to revisit the fan-favorite modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

A popular 2014 mod Lost Alpha for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has finally received the much-anticipated Developer's Cut edition. The 1.4002 update is currently available as a 2.3 GB patch for the 1.3000 version. The modification is a standalone, so you don’t need to own the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl to play it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha - Developer's Cut breathes new life into the Zone as well as introduces lots of important fixes. There is now more variety and less empty spaces in the game world, upgraded trading, improved weather as well as new system of lighting – the latter significant improves the visuals in general. With S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha fans wanted to recreate the original concept of what S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl was meant to be, before the developers from Studio GSC World changed it. As a result, the players got a whole new game in this much loved franchise set in the post-apocalytpic world of the Chernobyl Zone.
