Star Citizen Unplayable? Download Latest Version and Judge for Yourself

Cloud Imperium Games has announced that the Star Citizen project has received a new update. Anyone willing can now try out the recent improvements in a free version of the game.

Will 2023 bring a breakthrough in work on Star Citizen? Some time ago, the developers from Cloud Imperium Games promised a significant development in their flagship project, and it looks like they didn't throw their words to the wind.

  • According to information published on the game's official website, a new update has been released, for the game that has been in early access for nearly 10 years now. The purpose of the patch, numbered 3.18.1, is primarily to solve some of the problems that arose after the March update.
  • At the same time, the developers announced the next Free Fly event. From April 13-20, anyone willing can test the game for free. This is an excellent opportunity to check out the latest version of Star Citizen before purchase.
  • The initiative does not come from the goodness of the developers' hearts, but out of a desire to conduct intensive testing of the game. The developers intend to make sure that the space simulator will be able to handle even the biggest traffic, if only during the Invictus Launch Week Free Fly in May.

Finally, we remind you that the crowdfunding campaign for Star Citizen is in full swing. At the time of writing this news, the developers have already raised more than $563 million for the game's development.
