Work on Tunguska: The Visitation, an isometric survival action game inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, is finally coming to an end. According to the latest information, the game's release will take place in July this year.
On this occasion, a new trailer was also published. As you may know, the game is the debut work of Rotorist Workshop. Tunguska: The Visitation will be released exclusively on PC.
We've been waiting for the game for a very long time. First time the world heard about it was in 2015, when it was still titled Warzone. The slow pace of work is not surprising, as Tunguska: The Visitation is mostly the work of a single developer. However, the creator (known by the nickname Rotorist) has been posting regular updates on the game's progress and numerous videos over the past few years, so there was never any concern that the project was quietly abandoned.
Tunguska: The Visitation will be an isometric shooter enriched with survival elements, such as the need to gather food and water, use medicines and manage our equipment. The action will be set in 1985 in Russia, and the author draws heavily on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, as well as the novel Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers. During the game we will have to deal with anomalies and radiation. The game is to allow for a lot of freedom in completing tasks, allowing both for direct confrontations and stealthy approach.
Although the release is planned for June, we can already play the game. On the game's profile on Itch.io we can download the beta version for free. It enables us to play on one of the maps, which will be included in the full release.
