Tunguska: The Visitation is an action game developed by an independent studio Rotorist Worksho. The game was inspired by the iconic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.

Story

On June 30, 1908, a powerful explosion took place on the Podkamennaya Tunguska River in central Siberia, seen within a radius of 650 kilometers from the place of the event and heard at a distance of 1000 kilometers. The explosion not only knocked down trees within a radius of 40 kilometers but also caused an extremely strong shock felt around the globe. To this day this catastrophe remains largely a mystery, which was used by the devs of Tunguska: The Visitation.

The game takes us to an alternative reality in which the area of the meteorite impact (which is the most probable solution to this puzzle) has been transformed into a Zone contaminated with radiation. The area is riddled not only with ruins, unexplained anomalies, and mutated creatures but also with valuable artifacts. It is the presence of the latter that causes the borders of the zone to be crossed by subsequent daredevils, counting on the possibility of quick (but not necessarily easy) money. One of the people who succumbed to this kind of "gold rush" is the main character of the game.
