Ubisoft is Looking for People to Work on New Rocksmith

Ubisoft is looking for employees for a project related to Rocksmith, a series of music games. Among others, music analysts and music transcription specialists are being sought.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. The job offers on Ubisoft's website suggest that the next part of the Rocksmith series is in development;
  2. The company is looking for a technical designer, music analysts and music transcription expert, among others.

The job offer on Ubisoft's official website suggests that the French company is working on the new installment of the Rocksmith music game series. The candidate is to work on transcribing tabs for electric and bass guitars, check notes, map the tempo of sound files and analyze songs to identify characteristics and techniques used in it.

But that's not all - the company is also looking for a few other specialists to work on the Rocksmith series (this can be seen in the job names and details in descriptions of future duties). We are talking about several testers, technical designer, music analysts and user interface designer.

The latest installment of the Rocksmith series was released in 2014. This year Ubisoft officially stopped supporting the game with new additions, which also suggests that the announcement of the next part is only a matter of time.
