Warhammer 40K: Darktide - Heavy Stubber: Everything You Need to Know

In Warhammer 40,000: Darktide you will use a variety of weapons. One of them is the Heavy Stubber, or Ogryn's LMG. Here you will find all the advantages and disadvantages of this particular weapon.

When playing Warhammer 40,000: Darktide you will be able to test a number of different weapons. Their pool depends on the class you play. Below you will find a description of the Heavy Stubber, which is Ogryn's LMG. In this guide you will learn its advantages and disadvantages.

Heavy Stubber is the weapon you will gain access to if you play as Ogryn. It is an LMG with 124 rounds in the magazine and a very high rate of fire. As a result, this weapon is ideal for fighting large hordes and when you need to hold a specific position. In such situations you don't have to aim precisely - just point towards the enemy group and pull the trigger. If, on the other hand, you would like to break through the enemies, it is better to reach for another weapon. The Ripper Gun, for example, will be ideal here.

Initially, Stubber inflicted quite low damage, making it take a longer time to eliminate the enemy. Eventually, however, the developers decided to increase it by 33%. Thus, Heavy Stubber became a more effective tool.

Still, this weapon has two significant disadvantages. The first is the long reload time. This is not something particularly shocking - after all, it is an LMG. You should be aware of this drawback already at the time of choosing this weapon.

The second problem with the Heavy Stubber is the relatively small ammunition supply. You start the game with a full magazine and 447 extra bullets. With the high rate of fire that this weapon has, the supply will vaporize rather quickly.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that Heavy Stubber should serve more of a support role and you should not rely on it for the entire game. Ogryn is, after all, a class that specializes in fighting with melee weapons. And it is this type of weapon that you should use first and foremost.
