Warhammer 40K: Darktide - Best Ogryn Build

In Warhammer 40,000: Darktide we have several classes to choose from, which should then be played in such a way as to create the most effective build possible. An Ogryn comes in handy in every team, as he is the best tank that hordes of enemies can focus on. However, this does not mean that he cannot also help in direct combat. In this guide we will describe a build that combines both defensive and offensive benefits.

Ogryn Skills

Ability

1. Bull Rush: Charge Forward, knocking enemies back gaining 25% Attack Speed and 25% Movement Speed for 5s.

Blitz

1. Big Box of Hurt: Throw a box of grenades in high damge single attack.

Aura

1. Intimidating Presence: +10% Heavy Melee Attack Damage (Allies in Coherency).

Iconic

1. Thick Skin: +20% Toughness Damage Reduction & 20% Health Damage Reduction.
2. Excessive Force: +25 Melee Stagger.
3. Loyal Protector: Being Damaged while Reviving or Assisting allies no longer interrupts you.

Ogryn build

When deciding on the following build, we will be able to support our comrades both defensively and also to deal a lot of damage, which is useful not only during clashes with numerous hordes of enemies, but also during fights with bosses. 1. Smash Em' Good! (lvl 5): Replenish 20% Toughness on Single Enemy Heavy Melee Hit.

3. Bullfighter (lvl 15): -10% Bull Rush Cooldown when you or an ally in Coherency kills Elite enemy.
4. Bloodthirst (lvl 20): +10% Damage Resistance per Bleeding Enemy in Melee range. Stacks 5 times.
5. Raging Bull (lvl 25): +5% damage (Next Melee Hit) on Melee Hit for each enemy Hit with the initial Attack.
6. Bull Gore (lvl 30): +2 Bleed Stacks on Enemies Hit by Bull Rush.

Best Curios and Weapons

No description of the build can do without equipment. It is worth starting with Curios, or items that strengthen our character. In the case of Ogryn it is worth betting on items that increase Toughness and Damage Resistance.. Our three choices are:

1. Saintly Fragment (Caged)
2. Laurel of the Righteous (Reliquary)
3. Mechanicus Icon Exemplar (Casket)

When it comes to weapons, here, too, it is worth betting primarily on defense. For Primary Weapon, a great choice would be Endymion Mk II Battle Maul & Slab Shield. With this, we will be able to inflict a lot of damage to larger groups of enemies and withstand attack from many opponents.
