Sea of Thieves: Mission - Journey, how to pick yours? How to choose? Tips

When you start playing Sea of Thieves you will land in a tavern on one of the islands - your base (or outpost). Nearby the waterfront you will find your moored ship. On the island itself there are shops of several types of traders, as well as representatives of the three major factions (Trading Company) offering various kinds of missions, which in Sea of Thieves are called Voyages.

The first voyages quests are available for free. Once you've gained a higher rank with a faction and gained the required amount of gold, you'll be able to buy more of them, which will give you more valuable rewards. You can buy more than three voyages at a time, from one or more factions. Each of them offers a different type of task.

1. Gold Hoarders - hunt for hidden treasure chests.
2. Order of Souls - killing a specified skeleton pirate captain (bounty).
3. Merchant Alliance - transport of goods and catching live animals.

You can buy voyages from the faction representatives, and thanks to their completion you will gain gold pieces.

Once you've purchased your journey, you will receive a document with all the necessary information In case of trading missions you will have to collect cages for ordered animals. Remember that the trader only gives one cage at a time and after you have put the cage on board, you will have to return to it as many times as the animals are in the contract.

When you board the ship, you have to put your journeys on a special table in the captain's cabin. Only then can you vote for the selected mission (default key: F) changing its status to active, and we will get more detailed information, e.g. in the case of a mission to the treasure chest, a small map with additional tips will appear in your inventory. Once you have set your destination, you can compare everything to the large world map in the same cabin and be on your way.

The cabin table is used to activate the quests.
