Sniper Elite 4: Blowing up the bridge with the cannon on rails

On this page of our guide to Sniper Elite 4 we explain how to destroy the railway gun bridge as part of the third mission of the game - Regilino Viaduct. This is the final part of this mission and its only an additional objective. Our guide presents all the most important steps.

The charge that will be used to destroy the bridge is located on its lower part, on the scaffolding. There are three ways along which to reach the bridge:

From the north-eastern base,

• From the crashed plane (the tunnel) (M3,11),
• From the center of the map towards the east (two routes), next to the bridge (M3,13).

Basically, the route along the tunnel is the most difficult one - on your way, you will encounter many more opponents, plus an armored car (M3,4) approaching the bridge from the south.

As you walk towards the base, you simply have to jump down the scaffolding. Opponents patrol along lower levels

In a way, crossing the base is the safest route. If you have managed to clear the base, more or less, on the bridge there will only be three opponents to the north. It will be easy to lure them out of there. Additionally, to the south of the base, there is a long strip of greenery, along which you can crawl up to the very bridge.

You can go prone along the road by the river. This way, you will get to the base of the scaffolding

Third option- the road towards the center of the map is another solution. While following the lower path, you will have to watch out for the sniper on the bridge, because there are not too many covers to take. As soon as you reach the bridge, you will only have to deal with the units on the scaffoldings.

In the spots, where there are planks on wailings, you can hang off them and jump up to kill the enemy from behind

Regardless of which route you take, your task is to get onto the scaffolding, by the middle pillar. As soon as you get there, plant the explosive. You cannot use an explosive with a timer - you will have to take a shot from your sniper rifle at it.

If you play at a higher difficulty level, the shot from the correct distance is the key

A good spot to take the shot is the one under the bridge (M3,13), near the church. Actually, from there, there is 200 m from the target, which makes it easy to take one shot. As soon as you blow up the bridge, you will complete the mission.
