Bamboo Terrace is a level in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. You will be unable to complete this level in a single attempt since it contains a sequence for a character named Bentley, who will become available only after progressing to the third homeworld.

How to get 100% completion in this level?

Reaching 100% completion on the Bamboo Terrace level will require you to meet the following conditions:

1. Collect 500 gems
2. Find 6 Dragon Eggs

Walkthrough

Due to the presence of several characters on this level, the description of the playthrough has been divided into two parts.

Spyro

At the beginning of the level, you will engage in conversation with a panda, she will ask you for help in getting through the area controlled by Rhynocs. The area you start in is blocked off from the rest of the level. Only when you eliminate the Rhynoc and the Buffalo, the pandas will move a stone away and you will be able to proceed.

You will reach a sizable clearing. You will have to eliminate all of the Rhynocs that can be found in this area. After that, the pandas will open up the bridge and you will be able to go further. However, before you do this, be sure to collect all of the gems and to jump onto a small platform where you will find an egg.

Additionally, you will also find a staircase behind one of the rocks that will lead you to a niche, where you will find another egg.

The pathway will lead you to another clearing, one divided by a stream. Use the small earthen platforms to jump to the other side and then enter the temple. You will find a panda there, who will give you an egg and grant you access to the next bridge. In this building, you will also find an exit that will lead you to a portal meant for Bentley.

At this point, a thief will appear on the map, whom you will have to catch. The bridge will also allow you to enter the next portal. Once there, you will have to eliminate all of the Rhynocs while making sure that they do not hurt any of the pandas. You must also be careful not to hit any of the pandas yourself.

Bentley

Once you have unlocked Bentley, you can go back to this level and enter a portal meant specifically for him. The following sequence is linear and uncomplicated. All you need to do is walk straight ahead while eliminating Rhynocs and rolling rocks. At the end of the path, you will discover an egg.
