How to get 100% completion in this level?

Reaching 100% completion on the Desert Ruins level will require you to meet the following conditions:

1. Collect 700 gems
2. Find 6 Dragon Eggs

Walkthrough

Due to the presence of several characters on this level, the description of the playthrough has been divided into two parts.

Spyro

You start this level in a rather small location. Eliminate the nearby Scorpions and collect all of the gems. After that, go to the next area through the platform.

Eliminate the Scorpions in the new area. Use the steps adjacent to the wall to collect gems from the hand statues. You will also find a locked chest here. Afterwards, head towards the steel platform. You must attack the Firebreathers when they are not igniting their platforms. You can destroy them with a charge.

You will find a different type of platforms. You have to jump away from them quite quickly because they collapse under the weight of Spyro. Once you reach the other side, you will discover another steel platform. Go through it and turn back towards the ledge with the ladder. Turn left and you will jump onto another ledge where the portal for Sheila is located. If you turn right, you will have to face another Firebreather.

After sorting out the enemy, you will be able to glide onto a hand statue on the other side of the ravine. You will find an egg there. It is also a place from which you can get to a cave that will lead you to a key and another egg.

If you enter the building, you will have to get through a number of Firebreathers. In the end, you will reach a fork. Turn left and climb the ladder. Just be careful not to hit the fragment that is burning hot. You will find yourself on a ledge, drop down when you reach its end. Hunter will ask you to destroy the shark-riding Rhynocs with the help of his pet Mantaray. You will receive an egg for completing this task.

By going straight ahead, you will acquire another egg from an explorer, who will appear as soon as you leave the building.

Sheila

Sheila's sequence is quite simple. The camera will be located on the side, which will make the task much easier. You simply have to get through consecutive platforms, while getting rid of any opponents that stand in your way. You can destroy them with your jump attack. The best tactic is to maintain a constant super jump. You will receive two eggs for completing the entire sequence.
