Starlink Battle for Atlas: How to destroy an Extractor?
Last update:
Extractors, Legion's extracting units, can be found in Starlink. They create characteristic contamination zones - you can recognize them by dust clouds right above a planet's surface.

Elimination of the Extractor is a multi-stage process. In its case, the most agile ships equipped with low-temperature weapons are the best solution. The first stage is the elimination of vanguards and Cyclops. As long as you don't have any problems with the latter, the vanguards (Extractor Nodes) can cause problems. As soon as you attack them, they will shoot in your direction with laser beams. They are quite strong, so you have to avoid them at all costs by continuing to shoot them all the time.

When the nodes are dismantled, the core of the Extractor will appear. It will emit an extremely powerful beam that will seriously damage your ship. The only way to avoid this laser is to jump and dodge over it. At the same time you have to attack the core.
In most cases you will not be able to destroy the core the first time. After some time it will hide again. Cyclops and vanguards (extractor nodes) will appear again. You have to repeat the whole scheme until the core is completely destroyed.
