Bard's Tale 4: Low Friends in Low Places Main Quest Walkthrough

Talk to Duke Kingston

You must go west of the square of the ruins of Skara Brae Below.

Along the way, you will encounter a Practitioner together with several goblins. Note that they are too powerful of a force for you at this moment. You must avoid them - to do this, use the Rogue's "Hide in the Shadows" skill. In order to use it, you must click the right mouse button, select the Rogue and then his skill. You will then become invisible. Remember that you must sneak past the enemy. If you walk directly into a foe, you will attack him, despite your invisibility.

When you manage to slip past them, you will find a few chests and some herbs to collect along the way. You will encounter a group of simple opponents. If you are not sure which way to go, use the song Jarnel's Eyes. It will show you the control point in orange. Go to the Duke's chambers and talk to him.

Find the thieves for the Duke

After you leave, you will meet Sybal - a level 10 Rogue. She may join your party. You will encounter enemies along the way.

Watch out for the poisons utilized by these enemies. Pick up the Duke's equipment and return to him.

Go to the sinister street

You will encounter opponents along the way. Make the first move. The sinister street is located behind the imp village.

Going inside results in completing the task.
