The Invincible: What is the comic book?

The Invincible is focused heavily on the plot - while playing, you may notice a comic book icon appearing in the corner of the screen after certain plot events. It means that you have just experienced a significant plot event and have completed the comic book. On this page you will learn what the comic book is and what it is used for.

Comic book

The comic book serves as a summary of the game's plot and is unlocked as you progress. It is divided into several sections arranged in chronological order. Major plot events - such as experiencing a flashback or discovering a new location - add new panels to the comic book. Depending on the decisions made by the player, the comic book will look different at the end of the game, presenting a unique story.

It is divided into chapters corresponding to specific segments of the game. By reading the panels, you can recall past moments of the plot, better understand the story, learn the chronological order of events or assess how far you are in the game. Although the comic book is arranged in chronological order, its panels are not unlocked in sequence. It becomes a coherent summary at the end of the game.

You can browse the comic by jumping between subsequent panels and chapters or only newly added panels.
