Uncharted The Lost Legacy: The Insurgency

In this page you can find a walkthrough for the first chapter in Uncharted: Lost Legacy called "The Insurgency". This rather easy level opens with a linear walk through the city. Later, the path branches out a few times but all roads always lead to the same place. During this mission you have to stealthy eliminate a few enemies and learn various game mechanics.

Use the melee attack when the enemy is next to a wall

Start walking down the roads. During the first few parts of the level you don't have to explore everything carefully because there are no additional secrets to find. Don't get too close to the insurgents near the pickup truck because you they will shoot you down after pushing you off a few times. A little bit further you can find a checkpoint outpost and when you reach it you will watch a cut-scene.

When you can control Chloe again you must continue your journey during which you will have to crouch so you can get under a fence. You reach an alley with two insurgents, you must hide behind the closest cover. Wait for the first enemy to get closer to you and press melee button to perform a stealth execution on him. Now, you must sneak near the second one in the left alley. Again, you must eliminate him by using a melee attack.

Move forward and reach the red door. Don't approach the insurgents on the left side and instead focus on opening the door. This is the place in which you have to play a lock picking mini-game for the first time. It is very simple. Move the left analog stick until it starts to vibrate and keep its position until Chloe deals with the current pin. In order to open the door and enter the building you must do the same two more times.

You start on the ground floor and you must reach the upper floors. You can do this in two ways, the choice of path has no impact on anything. The first option is to use the stairs and the second is to start climbing the destroyed part of the building which is presented in the picture.

The building's floor is patrolled by three enemies. Use walls and environment objects as covers and try to get closer to each one of them from behind to perform silent executions. If you are caught, you won't fail the mission but you will have to be careful so you won't be shot down.

Your destination is the building's roof and, again, you can choose how you want to get there. The first option is to reach the window presented in the picture (it's next to one of the guards), then go left on a cornice and after that you must use a ladder. The second option is to find another stairs that leads to the rooftop.

When you reach the rooftop you shouldn't rush to its opposite side. Instead, you can examine the area presented in the picture above where you can find a treasure (1/1 - Sterling Silver Cigarette Case).

You must help Nadine if she gets caught by an enemy

When you find the secret you can search for the ladder that can take you to the highest part of the rooftop. There, you will have to watch another cut-scene. Press Triangle when enemies appear and then continue using normal melee attacks. You can also use rolls and then press Triangle again if you are caught by someone.

Don't worry about the fact that enemies outnumber you because soon, Nadine will soon join the fight (this action is scripted). She will help you in eliminating all insurgents (warning - if Nadine is caught by any of the enemies then you must attack him to free her). Securing the rooftop completes this chapter.
