At first glance, it doesn't look too bad. On the second thought, however, it turns out average.

What is Elyon?

A classic representative of the MMORPG genre, in which, together with thousands of other players, we find ourselves in a large world. What's inside? Hours of exploration, combat and fragments of a story campaign combining steampunk and fantasy. The developers have prepared six character classes that can participate in large, multi-stage, online battles.

What did it surprise us with?

Remarkable reception. Not many people expected before the release that Elyon would appeal to anyone, let alone that hours-long queues would be formed by players eager to join the fun. As reported by Steam Charts, Elyona was played by over 15,000 concurrent players at its peak. It may not be New World, but Elyon certainly has nothing to be ashamed of.

Is it worth it?

Unfortunately, those who managed to get into the world created by Bluehole Studio, report that the quality of the game leaves a lot to be desired. This sentiment is reflected by the 2472 reviews on Steam, of which only 53% are positive. Players claim that Elyon is underperforming due to poor optimization, that server queues may be a nice surprise for creators, but rather not for players, and the the aggressive micropayments system creates a pay-to-win scenario.
