Missing in action – the most anticipated games lost in development hell

Half-Life 3, Fallout 4 and others - when it comes to video games, there are many titles that despite great anticipation, still haven’t been released. We present you our list of the most interesting of such titles, which we have graded.

The new Hitman

Usually, the bald-headed assassin was the one responsible for making people disappear, but now, he seems to be the one missing. After the release of the well-received Hitman Absolution in 2012, the fans have been starved for any information regarding the next game with Agent 47 in it. In January, IO Interactive has made a statement, that the next game is in works.

The concept art above was released in May, killing our hopes of seeing Agent 47 at E3 (and it’s quite understandable, as the game was supposedly in production for only a few months). Nevertheless, a few beans were spilled regarding the aforementioned concept art. – the massive mansion is supposed to be a bigger location than anything seen in Absolution, and we will visit both its’ outside and interior. However, it is quite saddening that, for more than a half year now, we haven’t seen anything except promises, and a short skim through Twitter and forums reveals that the developers aren’t too willing to tell us anything at all. It may be a good thing though– the work of a hitman should be stealthy, and the results surprising. It would be nice to assume, that the next Hitman will debut next year, as the new movie featuring our favorite agent is to be released in August. In the end, it’s best not to get our hopes up and patiently wait for the next E3.
