Amnesia Rebirth: The Portal Chamber (4th visit) - walkthrough, secrets

This page of the guide to Amnesia Rebirth contains a walkthrough for the fourth visit to the location from the chapter called The Portal Chamber. The last, fourth visit to Portal Chamber takes place after getting out of the Catacombs - we have described it on the previous page of the walkthrough.

You have to reach the device in front of the portal. There are two empty slots here. Select your Leyden Jars from your inventory and put them in the slots.

Activating the portal

You must now repeat the steps of "tuning" the energy beam to activate the portal. There are 3 rotating mechanisms on the edge of the room. You have to adjust the position of each mechanism to make the light beam shine through it and become more narrow. You will know when the position is correct when the two pyramids light up on the sides of the rotating mechanism.

Check the other two mechanisms in a similar manner. Each has to have two blue glowing pyramids next to it.

As you move on to the other mechanisms, you have to watch out for:

1. red growths - don't touch them
2. the monster - when you see it, you can either hide and wait for it to leave, or sprint away to lose it.

When you're done with the mechanisms, return to the portal and press the button . A cut-scene will start, after which you will be automatically transported to The Theater .
