- Ancestors Legacy features 6 campaigns and each one of them is focused on a specific historical period. Every campaign tells a story of a few heroes. You get access to 30 missions, all with varying difficulty level.
- Initially, you can only start the Vikings campaign and play as Ulf Ironbeard who went on a journey to raid Lindisfarne monastery. After a few of his missions you will get access to other campaigns. The reason for that is because the first few missions of this faction are typical tutorials and their goal is to teach players the basic gameplay mechanics.
- As for the order of completing campaigns - it is all up to you. Some are easier while others are more challenging. I suggest players to complete Ulf's campaign first and then complete Edward the Confessor's missions.
- Also, the developers have announced two additional campaigns - Germans and Slavs. They will be available after the release (probably as a paid DLC).
- The missions are rather lengthy - on the default difficulty, they can take you about 25-30 hours.
