Anthem: How to gain XP faster?

Gaining experience points is a very important element of Anthem. On this page of our guide, you will find various tips and trick concerning how to gain XP faster.

Play with others instead of solo

The game rewards group activities. Even if you can't play with people from the friends list, you can always choose matchmaking and complete mission or explore the world with randomly selected players.

In the course of the game, look for opportunities to perform actions which are rewarded by the game - cooperate with others while doing combo attacks or save knocked down players.

Visit Strongholds

Strongholds are locations where you can play more challenging missions (expeditions). You'll fight stronger opponents, so you must be ready to cooperate with other players. However, the rewards for completing these missions are much better, and you can also gain more experience points.

Check out Feats

Feats are one of the challenge's categories in Anthem. You can complete them during every expedition. Each completed feat will reward you with XP. They can require e.g. finishing the mission on a specific difficulty level, performing a certain number of combo attacks, killing a few elite opponents, using a special ability, or repairing ally Javelin a specified number of times.

You can check Feats in journal menu (example in picture 1) and keep track of them during the expedition (example in picture 2). In the latter case, always try to complete as many of its requirements as possible before the expedition ends

Participate in World Events

A chance to play World Event appears during freeplay. It's worth to participate in every event unless the challenge significantly exceeds your character's abilities. Completing events is always rewarded with XP points, and often you can also get valuable loot.
