Anthem: What is the strongest weapon?

The most powerful weapon in Anthem (but not necessarily the best) is a sniper rifle called Devastator. This isn't an incredibly rare weapon and it can be used by all Javelin classes. There are a few reasons why the Devastator can be underappreciated:

• You need to reload after every shot.
• You can't shoot without aiming with the scope.
• A shot must be charged first.
• The weapon's stats are misleading - the attack dealt with a bullet isn't high but when it hits the target, the bullet will explode dealing much more damage.
• It has very limited ammo (only a few bullets) which means that you have to loot enemy corpses constantly. You can equip with modules that increase your ammo capacity.

This weapon deals the biggest amount of damage with a single shot. Also, thanks to the explosion, it can damage a few enemies at the same time. The masterwork version can deal more than 15,000 damage after hitting a weak spot.
