AC Mirage: Are there romances?

The last two installments of the series about hooded assassins, AC Odyssey and AC Valhalla, gave players the opportunity to romance specific characters. Before its release, many fans wondered whether AC Mirage would follow in the footsteps of previous games and also contain romances.

This page answers whether the game has romance options. We try to avoid unnecessary plot spoilers, but they aren't totally unavoidable.

Are there any romantic options in AC Mirage?

The simplest answer to this question is - no. Unfortunately, the latest installment of Assassin's Creed does not feature any romantic side stories.

This situation is most likely related to the return to the series' roots which is reflected in the gameplay. AC Mirage features a smaller, more compact map and a much more linear plot. So it is possible that while designing Basim's adventures in Baghdad, the developers decided to intentionally omit romance options, which became known as mechanics fitting the more RPG elements of the series.
