AC Mirage: Can you pet cats?

The 9th century Baghdad in AC Mirage is inhabited not only by people. While walking its streets, from time to time you will come across cats wandering around or basking in the sun. Although the cats are not a significant element of the game's plot, their presence can be a nice bonus for gamers who love animals.

How to find and pet a cat?

To pet a cat, first you have to find it. Fortunately, these animals are a fairly common sight on the crowded streets of Baghdad. Locating a cat should not be a problem.

Our observations show that Baghdad cats particularly like crowded squares, roofs of buildings and slightly shaded interiors of houses. If you can't find a cat to pet, try looking around there.

When you find a kitten, you can confidently approach it. When a bubble appears above its head, press the appropriate key/button.

Basim will pick up the animal and tenderly pet it. After this short scene, the kitten will be put down on the ground. Unfortunately, once petted, the cat will not be in the mood for more petting.
