Breathedge: Lycoplasma - how to get?

Lycoplasma is a rare resource found in Breathedge. It is required to build high-energy products, such as the ZAZ-1 vehicle or the Blaster, and to unlock advanced blueprints through research. On this page you will find out how to get it.

Lycoplasma is a rare, virtually unavailable resource. However, you can find two at the start of chapter two. Head over the asteroid with the cave and you will spot a small vehicle wreck to the front, slightly to the left.

You'll find a safe in this location. To open it, you will need the smuggler's eye from the first chapter (the same one you could have used to get the lead paint). Inside the safe, you'll find two Lycoplasmas.

To collect lycoplasma in larger quantities, you need to go to the magma zone. Collect the required amount by using the Grabber on the plasma balls. However, you need to have previously discovered (in your base, using the Research table) and built the Engineering Suit (not to be confused with the Electrical Engineer Suit - this one is orange-black). To build it you need:

1. resin,
2. aluminium x2,
3. roll of fabric.

You won't acquire the engineering suit as part of the main plot, so you have to research it yourself. It will fully protect you against both high and low temperatures.
