Deus Ex Mankind Divided: Map of the northern part of Prague
General information about M3 map
The above map represents the northern part of Prague, one of the main hubs in the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided game. You start the exploration of Prague in the southern part of the city (M2 map) and if you want to get to the northern part you will have to use the subway. The following pages of the guide contain maps of smaller locations within this part of the city, such as the HQ of Task Force 29. the group Adam Jensen is cooperating with.
A lot is happening in this location. You can enter a great number of buildings (not all of the passages are available since the start), but it is mostly limited by what upgrades do you have. Many of the apartments are on from the first to the third floor or they are locked behind fifth level locks. Below you can find a few locations worth of your attention.

Above the abandoned Limb clinic (M3,40) there is a hidden stash in which you can find many valuable items: Praxis kit, Biocell, Neuropozyne and some secrets: a triangle code and a Breach Software. However, it isn't easy to get there, and it is even harder to find that place. When standing next to the cafeteria, you must walk a bit to the west, to the square from which you can see the steel scaffolding that connects the clinic with the neighboring building. The neighboring building has a movable roof (the Remote hacking ability) from which you can jump (Klipspringer jump mod) to the mentioned scaffolding. From there you can enter the ventilation shaft - there you will find the stash.

You want to get rich quickly? Visit the pharmacy (M3,33)! Not only can you get HypoStims there, but behind the ventilation shaft on the first floor there is a hidden stash. The room is filled with gas, but if you have some healing items (or alcohol) with you, you should be able to turn the valve before you run out of the oxygen. In the stash you will find 6x Neuropozyne, 4x painkillers and 3 biocells.

Above the Tubehouse (M3,17) in the western part of the district there is a small apartment. In order to get there, you must jump on the glass roof above the street. You can get there from the Roars Garden (M3,18) side. Walk through the roof to the opposite end and from there jump to the balcony of the apartment. You won't find many valuables there (only about 400 credits), but it is an interesting place because there is a trap there that can kill an inexperienced player. After entering inside, the shutters in the windows will drop and when you open the drawer, a countdown will start (45 seconds). Once it ends, the room will be filled with gas (at the bottom of the drawer you will find the previously mentioned credits).
In order to solve this situation which is actually rather simple for Jensen, you must unlock the shutters with Remote Hacking or you must follow the instructions suggested by the game. First enter the bathroom - there is a gas mine ahead, so be careful. You can try deactivating it carefully or you can just quickly turn the switch that deactivates the trap - it is located on the left side inside the bathroom.

In the safe inside the basements of the Sobchak's Security shop (M3,21) there is a safe worth your attention. Inside, there is Travos card which can be used for opening a special safe inside the secret room under the Palisade bank. You enter that place via the garages in front of the bank.
In order to move freely through the basement, you can get there through the ventilation shaft in the neighboring Hemingway building (M3,22) or you can make a deal with the shopkeeper. When you talk to him, he will ask you for neuropozyne. If you give it to him, he will deactivate the basic alarms for you. Now you will have to take care of the entrance to the room with the safe that is filled with mines. In the corner of the room you will find a terminal behind a painting. It will allow you to get rid of the threat.

Early in the game you should visit the small stash in the south (M3,28). Inside it you will find some ammunition which is valuable during the early phases of the game and quite expensive at the merchants. There is only one way to get inside, but if you don't want to waste a hacking key and you don't have enough hacking skills, you can simply blow up the door with a grenade, a mine or any gun.

The last point of interest is the garage behind the Tech Noir shop (M3,14). If you break in there (and won't kill the employees), later you will be able to see new security systems being installed inside the garage (the mines, cameras and doors might be closed again).

Important note - The eastern part of northern Prague map is the Red Light District. It's inaccessible during the first visit in Prague. This area can be visited once you return from Utulek Complex, by completing the main quest, The Rucker Extraction. From this moment, all passageways to the Red Light District will be unlocked, and Jensen can find new quests and activities here.

Important note - The third visit in Prague (the one that takes place after GARM mission) entails major complications, as during Jensen's absence, martial law has been declared in the whole country, with a curfew in place. This inconvenience is present on M2 and M3 maps (you can move freely around the sewers, visit residential blocks, and other "big" locations). The curfew is very strict - If Jensen gets detected, the police will engage him on sight.
The martial law really impedes travelling around the city during questing or exploration, but you can improve your situation with few tricks. Above all, completely avoid confrontations with the police. Use the knowledge of Prague you've probably acquired during your play through. Use the side roads, building interiors, ventilation shafts, or sewers to easily reach your destinations. If you want to engage the policemen, employ the element of surprise and avoid attacking bigger groups. Remember that enemies with exo-skeletons are easily disposed of using EMP grenades (once the grenade stuns them, you can use a firearm or a takedown). Aside from the policemen, you also have to watch out for drones, turrets, cameras, and laser barriers. EMP grenades are useful in dealing with such dangers, but Remote Hacking is even better - for example, you can easily disable a robot patrolling the given area or lasers blocking access to a metro station.
Quests beginning on map M3
Tracking Down the Real Terrorists - main quest (M3,2)
Checking Out the Men in Charge - main quest (M3,2)
Facing the Enigma - main quest (after leaving M7)
All in the Family - side quest (the quest can begin in random location)
Merchants and valuable items on the M3 map
Four merchants are available in the Northern Prague. Only one of them will both sell and buy, and offer a selection of items (another such merchant (except for Tras from the South) is in the building Hlavni 33 - on the M8 map).

The mentioned merchant is the seller in Tech Noir (M3,14). He sells all sorts of hacking software, ammunition and basic tools: Biocells, hacking keys and crafting items. He also has a stunning pistol - you can buy it if you don't have it yet. His unique trait is the fact that you can sell all Breach Software discs (secrets) simply by speaking to him (the transaction will be performed automatically). More about Breach Software can be found in the Listings chapter.
The pharmacy (M3,33). Here, a nice mister will want to sell you HypoStim healing device for 50 credits per piece. You must have enough credits to buy a set of five pieces at once (250 credits for five items).
In the Sobchak's Security shop (M3,21) you can buy crafting materials. You will receive 200 pieces for 450 credits. Don't let the shopkeeper fool you - if you value the Neuropozyne (it's worth 1000 credits), you don't need to give it to him. If you do, he will allow you to walk into his basement. You can also get there on your own by ignoring the alarms or by entering through the ventilation shaft from the shop ahead (the Hemingsway's - (M3,22)).
In the Tubehouse shop (M3,17) in the eastern part of the district you can buy a set of biocells. For 250 credits you will receive 5 biocells.
