No Tips Just Lore (Loading) is a mod for BattleTech, created by GaryLaserEyes.
Description (in author’s own words):
Missiles do more stability damage than lasers... great.
You can repair mechs in the mech bay after missions... great.
Good items on different planets ya know? .......... piss off.
And so it is that all tips are gone and replaced with perfect lore fit for this game (official) up to the end of the 2nd Succession Wars and mid 3rd. There should be no errors, and it works 100% perfectly.
You may even add more lines to the file (in the same manner) if you think 72 lines is not enough. I kept
all of the original lines that had to do with lore, it's a perfect blend.
To install:
Place the .txt file in the folder BATTLETECH-->BattleTech_Data-->StreamingAssets-->GameTips. (located in the steamapps-->common folder. (Make a backup if you like.)
Requires nothing else.
