Doom 3 Gameplay Remastered is a mod for Doom III, created by Death_Chopper.
Description:
This mod aims to overhaul Doom 3's gameplay and difficulty by making the player more powerful along with making the demons much more poweful. Feedback would be very much appreciated.

////CHANGES////
General-
Player speed is increased to 275, 3x times as fast as Vanilla, and sprint is increased to 355, at the cost of lower stamina.
Increased enemy aggression- every enemy is now much more vicious and ready to attack, along with dealing much more damage.
Increased enemy melee range and damage, shotgun kissing is still a viable tactic though(for the super shotgun)
Enemy attack kick amplitude is 10x lower, removing the annoying visual effect and stunlock the player receives when getting hit.
Pistol zsec uses the shotgunner helmet to add consistency between the zsec armor style.
Every major character has gotten a recolor in some way, for example, Swann wears fully dark glasses to fit his character more.
Weapon-
All weapons have been renamed and have gotten updated text descritions.
Pistol is now a poweful hand cannon with limited ammunition, holding 10 rounds and 120 rounds in reserve.
Shotgun is now much more reliable, having much lower spread and higher damage per pellet, at the cost of a 4 round tube and 1 round per reload.
The machine gun now shoots much faster and deals more damage, but it holds 10 rounds less than before and has the least amount of damage per shot of any weapon.
The Chaingun is now a power weapon, it shoots slower than the other automatics but deals much more damage, and has a reduced ammo capacity.
The hand grenades now explode in contact and act as a counter to hitscanners like chaingun commandos and all zombie security.
The plasma rifle has gotten an orange recolor to make ammo more noticeable and because of an old bug(now fixed), also deals more damage and shoots faster.
The rocket launcher has gotten a recolor too, now shooting "plasma rockets". The rockets are much more powerful but it can only shoot 2 rockets before a reload.
The BFG-9000 has become a god machine, being able to wipe out enemies with ease, at the cost of much less ammunition, it now holds 2 cells per shot and 8 in reserve. Tendrils are also much more deadly now.
The soul cube now deals more damage and requires 3 kills to charge, but some enemies can survive the attack now (Hell knight and Mancubus)Healing can also be stopped by attacks.
Fists now have much more range and damage, at the risk of increased enemy melee range and damage.
Flashlight is more poweful now, lighting a much greater area and the light actually aiming at your crosshair.
The chainsaw has a much greater range now, at the risk of having to go melee only.
The Super Shotgun deals a massive amount of damage per pellet, since i cannot find a way to edit the spread or projectile values.
Boss Changes-
Vagary has more health and is now much more aggresive with its attacks.
Guardian now has over 20x health due to the much more powerful weapons of the mod and shoots one powerful tracking projectile now.
Guardian seekers have more health and chase the player more aggresively.
Sabaoth now shoots 9 Mancubus fireballs because the BFG tendrils were too powerful against the player, it is also much more aggressive with its attacks.
The Cyberdemon now has much more Health and is able to be killed with normal weaponry, at the cost of dealing high damage against the player and being extremely aggressive.
Enemy Changes-
All enemies now have much more health and deal much more damage against the player, beware of the turbo pinky.
Instructions:
Find your doom 3 directory on your C: Drive, either through steamapps or Games on your bethesda.net launcher folder.
Upload the file named "redux" on your doom 3 folder, do not put it in any subfolders.
Set your lanch command in steam or bethesda launcher to +set fs_game redux in the properties tab if you easily want to launch it or launch it from "mods" in the doom 3 menu screen to open the mod.
If you have trouble launching the mod, delete the gamex86.dll, it should redownload itself when you launch the mod, but if further problems ensue, a backup of the file has been provided in the "backups" folder.
