True Rain is a mod for Fallout: New Vegas, created by Jackson Elhage.
Description (in author’s own words):
True Rain is a retexture of the rain found in Fallout: New Vegas' second addon, Honest Hearts. This rain texture is used in various weather mods such as URWL, Nevada Skies, and Project Reality, so you don't have to be in Zion to see it.
Why?
First of all, why not, secondly, because the original rain textures look like something out of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Features
New textures for the rain, which now take up much less memory, and look better, thanks to user SciRika's helpful critique. Textures are much less cartoony than before, and also have more droplets per sprite, resulting in heavier, more realistic raindrops.
Installation
Manual installation is as simple as drag 'n' dropping the textures folder into your games data folder, usually in steam, steamapps, common, so on, you know the drill, Mod Manager installation is just a click, clickity, click, and-a-done.
