If you succeed, you will be rewarded with additional cash. This mechanic also encourages careful exploration of the map and taking advantage of opportunities, if you have a bit of free space in your truck.
It is also worth noting that any equipment bought you haven't used such as jacks or anchors will be automatically sold at the end of the mission.
Side quests
During your travels, you'll surely encounter side mission opportunities. Their goals vary, but you'll often have to save a vehicle in need or deliver cargo to a given location. You can approach these tasks during expeditions (main missions), but we recommend undertaking them only after free roam is unlocked for the given map, as at that time you'll be able to comfortably focus on completing these activities.
