In terms of game mechanics, Assault Squad does not stray far from the formula of the base game - the player fights in various places the Second World War left its mark on, taking control over American, Soviet and German, as well as previously unavailable British and Japanese squads.

The creators prepared 30 different means of transport and four urban agglomerations to choose from (Vienna, Helsinki, Berlin, Amsterdam). The game was divided into a campaign and a free mode.

During the game we lead the troops of soldiers to the battle. An interesting fact is that we can choose their equipment and develop their skills by hand. The campaign is complemented by multiplayer mode.
