Simulation games. These titles put emphasis on simulating authentic (or fictional) actions in the most realistic manner possible. They allow the player e.g. to control civil (digger, crane, bus) or military vehicles (plane, tank, warship). Life simulation games (especially The Sims series) are very specific example of titles in this category, because they can simulate almost infinite number of aspects of human lives.

Elite: Dangerous - Horizons

A set of official expansions to the space simulator released back in 2014 by the Frontier Developments studio. The package has been collectively named Elite: Dangerous – Horizons, and comprises of several consecutively developed add-ons, which will enhance the game by adding additional content. The first expansion is called Planetary Landings and allows the players to land on the surfaces of specific planets, which have been designed in an extremely credible manner and scale.

An economic simulator developed by a Polish studio, Nano Games. In the game we assume the role of an owner of a cleaning company that maintains cleanliness in a city. The action of Cityconomy takes place in a large metropolis where we have to perform a myriad of various activities, such as garbage disposal, removing litter, trimming lawns and even towing damaged vehicles. We carry out our responsibilities using 15 specialized trucks, all of which are officially licensed by the MAN company.
Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China

An arcade flight simulator set in Southeastern Asia during the Second World War. It was developed by Ace Maddox - a Swedish game-making studio. The plot is based on historical events and the game tells a story of a secret combat squad of volunteers standing up for China against Japan's aggression. The game is characterized by arcade flight physics, focusing on spectacular aerial acrobatics and shooting in the TrazerTime mode which slows down the passage of time.

A spin-off of the popular Animal Crossing series by Nintendo. Unlike the other titles in the franchise, Happy Home Designer is not a life simulation game, but a software for designing interiors of the virtual characters' houses. In the game you find a range of options and items allowing you to customize the house according to the character's desires. On the floor you can place carpets, while the rooms can be furnished with bookshelves, benches, tables, wardrobes, or other objects.

The game takes us to a tropical area, where we assume the role of a small transport plane pilot. The campaign consists of over a hundred challenges which involve very simple and quick jobs as well as high-risk missions.

We play the role of a law enforcement officer in a small American town, facing a variety of challenges: from routine controls, through dynamic chases, to complex investigations against dangerous criminals. The creators were also tempted to imitate the private life of police officers: the money earned can be invested in home furnishings or a dream car.

Another unusual simulation game and the debut production by indie studio Sunken Places, developed for VR headgear. In Classroom Aquatic you play as a diver, who is also an exchange student in an underwater dolphin school. As everybody knows, dolphins are highly intelligent, so tests are not much of a problem for them. Not so for you, so in order not to make a fool of yourself, you have to sneakily glance at you classmates' tests and copy the right answers.
X Rebirth: Home of Light

Stable Orbit is a debut project of the one-man studio Codalyn that was founded by Jim Offerman. Production was developed by Icelandic Sólfar Studios collaborating with RVX team, responsible for special effects in the Baltasar Kormáruk movie, Everest. Project was supported financially by many Scandinavian institutions.

The game was created by Arc System Works, and the TOYBOX Inc. studio led by Yasuhiro Wada - the father of the Harvest Moon series. Birthdays the Beginning casts the player in the role of a creator of worlds, whose goal is to create a planet, along with a breathing ecosystem rich in life.

A very ambitious independent game developed by Q Switched Productions. The title combines traits of a space simulator with a strategy game. In Children of a Dead Earth the player assumes the role of an admiral who commands a space fleet. During the series of missions he can see as the Solar System plunges into a civil war. The gameplay is based on two main pillars: constructing space ships and participating in planetary conquests.

A free-to-play MMO game following the convention set by such titles as World of Tanks and World of Warships. Russian studio Areo Gaming decided to translate this arcade-simulation gameplay model into the world of battles fought by small marine units – fast patrol boats, torpedo boats, and small submarines. The players can unlock over 40 models of ships, armed with a diverse arsenal – starting from machine guns and cannons all the way to rocket launchers and depth charges.
